HOW QUICKLY WILL MY ORDER SHIP?
Most orders are fulfilled (packed and shipped) the same day as placed provided orders are placed on a weekday before 2 p.m. EST.
FROM WHERE DOES MY ORDER SHIP? HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?
All orders ship from our U. S. distribution center in Eustis, Florida which is approximately 40 miles Northwest of Orlando. We ship the bulk of our orders via USPS Priority Mail which means you will receive your order in two to three days (Sundays excluded) once it has been shipped. In some cases, and depending on the size of the order, we may opt for UPS ground shipping but only if a quick delivery similar to USPS priority mail is assured.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
Unfortunately not. We are the distributor for the United States only. PHYTO5 distributors do exist in many other parts of the world. A quick internet search can assist you to locate your regional distributor but if you prefer you may send us an email and we will assist you to make a connection with the distributor for your region.

DOES PHYTO5 MAKE IT OWN PRODUCTS?
Yes, we make 100% of all of our products at our factory in Fleurier, Switzerland.
WHAT DOES ’ENERGETIC' MEAN?
‘Energetic' means ‘high vibrational.' We are more than the physical matter that makes up our flesh, bone and blood. There is also a current of unseen yet very real vital energy coursing through our bodies constantly animating and vitalizing our beings. The five elements lines of PHYTO5 skincare provide authentic ‘energetic skincare’ that balances skin, vital energy and even emotions and encourages the vitality of all three.
WHAT IS VITAL ENERGY?
Vital energy is what is called prăna in yoga and chi in Chinese martial arts. It is the unseen yet very real current of energy coursing through our bodies constantly animating and vitalizing our beings. It is a concept understood and appreciated by energy medicines of both ancient and modern times. Also called life force, vital energy flows through pathways called meridians in Chinese medicine and chakras in Ayurveda. Channels and centers of vital energy have been proven by modern vibrational energy. This life force needs to be allowed to flow freely and without blockages as a pre-condition to our vitality and state of health and even our skin and emotions.
WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?
A natural essential oil is a volatile, ethereal concentration containing the essence of the plant from which it is extracted – often obtained by distillation. Essential oils are now on trend and very accessible in the health and beauty aisles of stores everywhere however it is interesting to note that PHYTO5 has been formulating skincare products with high grade essential oils since the late 70s. It should be noted that not all essential oils are of equal quality. In addition, there are many so called “essential oils” that are synthetic perfumes with an aroma but no vital potency and no therapeutic or aromatherapeutic value.
“The most important argument for using essential oils in cosmetics has to do with their vital force and their naturalness. The life within us can be best cared for and healed with living things. We have a strong affinity for plants–particularly the flower oils–their blossoms are the ‘face’ of the plant that are used for facial care in essential oil cosmetics. When the facial skin is treated with flower oils, it receives the entire stored solar energy and vital force of the essential oil. The flower’s oils are easily dissolved by the sebaceous fat, and their molecules are so small that they can actually penetrate the skin to reach the lowest level and even affect the deeper tissue and organs.”
WHICH PRODUCTS ARE ORGANIC?
• PHYTO5’s entire Ageless La Cure facial line is organic and certified by Ecocert.
• Certain products from the “Swiss” line are also organic certified by Ecocert, namely, Hydrating Body Milk, Zen Body Exfoliation, Contouring Serum, Chi Yin Massage Oil, Chi Yang Massage Oil, Zen Massage Oil and Arnica-Lavender Massage Oil.
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES AMONG THE THREE LINES OF PHYTO5 PRODUCTS?
• The five elements lines (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water) are all energetic (see definition of ‘energetic’ above), natural and holistic. They are formulated in alignment with both the five element theory and principles of traditional Chinese medicine for the purpose of contributing to vital energy balance as a by-product of the function of each product. They address the five major sets of skin conditions and these conditions are clearly listed on each line’s shop page.
• The “Swiss” line is composed of natural traditional phytoceutical skincare products with targeted missions according to each product. These products can be used either in conjunction with PHYTO5 seasonal–elemental–energetic lines or on their own. Some products in this line are certified organic as stated above.
• Organic certified Ageless La Cure is a facial skincare line designed to help you prevent and reverse visible signs of aging by addressing five major esthetic actions: 1) hydrating, 2) mineralizing, 3) naturally filling wrinkles from within, 4) antioxidation, and 5) lifting, firming and toning.

ARE PHYTO5 PRODUCTS VEGAN AND CRUELTY-FREE?
Yes, although we do not provide formal certifications for these highly important product features we assure you they are both vegan and cruelty-free.
ARE PRODUCT HOW-TO-USE INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED WITH MY ORDER?

WHAT IF I HAVE AN ALLERGIC REACTION?
Any product containing an essential oil will contain allergens from plants. Some people might have an intolerance to allergens. If you’re in doubt, there is a relatively safe and quick testing method: apply a small amount of product in the fold of the elbow and wait for a minute or two. Remove without rubbing. Do you have a feeling of itchiness or is there a marked reddish area showing a reaction? If so, this product might not be right for you. If you have already applied the product on your face, gently remove it with a proper cleansing milk or soft soap. It is always practical to have on hand our Face Cream [La Crème Acide] which is a pH balancing cream and very good way to neutralize the irritation.
ARE PHYTO5 PRODUCTS CONTAINING ESSENTIAL OILS SAFE RECOMMENDED FOR PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING WOMEN?
Due to the presence of potent natural essential oils, all products have the following warning: “Not suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women."
