Facial Cream Hero Ingredients

Cupuaçu butter from the Amazon rain forest belongs to the cocoa family. It has a high water absorption capacity of 440%. This property gives it exceptional hydrating potential and a very potent ability to replenish the skin. It soothes the lips and heals and gives skin elasticity. Cupuaçu butter is very rich in vitamin C, calcium, magnesium and iron. Its composition with unsaturated fatty acids (Omegas 6 and 9) makes it an ideal butter for skincare. It melts immediately in contact with the skin with a melting point of around 30°C (86°F).

A plethora of amber colored acacia gum globules

Easyliance is a high tech natural compound made from a mixture of a sunflower-based biopolymer and its more active ingredient, acacia gum (pictured above), an elastic-like extract pressed from the acacia tree. The ingredients work in synergy to naturally tighten skin on contact and reduce wrinkles from the inside out.

Aquaxyl

Aquaxyl in the 5 Secrets Cream is a high tech natural compound and a combination of molecules extracted from wheat, this ingredient promotes skin’s own hydrous flow. Aquaxyl is composed of Xylitylglucoside, Anhydroxylitol, and Xylitol, all three of which are natural sugars found in fruits, vegetables and plant-life. It is gluten-free.

  • Aquaxyl deeply hydrates to increase water reserves in the skin. It has been proven by corneometry analysis that Aquaxyl improves epidermal water content and stimulates the synthesis of GlycosAminoGlycans (GAGs) that are responsible for trapping water within the skin. This action delivers an immediate and long-term moisturizing effect.

  • Aquaxyl also forms a protective film on the skin which prevents water from evaporating. In vivo clinical studies have shown that Aquaxyl increases the synthesis of ceramides, the major constituent of the skin’s protective barrier. It has also been demonstrated that Aquaxyl decreases trans-epidermal water loss. It makes the skin stronger and more resistant to harm from external influences.

The result of Aquaxyl is that desquamation is normalized and the micro-relief of the skin is smoothed. This potent ingredient exhibits proven efficacy in hydrating and restructuring skin cells. The skin is better equipped to fight external aggressions when it is well and powerfully restructured and moisturized. Aquaxyl offers a three-dimensional hydration concept:

1) the optimization of water circulation through all layers of the skin
2) the establishment of a water-retaining barrier in the skin within 24 hours
3) the smoothing away of fines lines for softer, properly desquamated skin in 28 days.

By establishing a greater reserve of moisture in the skin while also impeding loss of moisture, the cutaneous barrier is reinforced and the skin smoothed, hydrated and restructured.

Vitamins B and E combined with a high percentage of fatty acids which deeply penetrate the skin, beautifully and gently moisturize, firm, tighten and lessen the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Rice bran is exceptionally good for treating dehydrated, flaky, delicate and mature, fragile skin. The ferulic acid content in rice bran oil, an organic phytochemical compound found in plant cell walls, also has potent anti-aging properties.
